RESIDENTIAL SAUNA
Studio
A compact outdoor sauna designed for two to three bathers. The room is smaller. The fundamentals are not. Heat quality, bench geometry, ventilation, drainage, and material integrity are all resolved to the same standard as our larger work, proportioned to the space rather than scaled down from it.
WHO IT’S FOR
Built for Tighter Sites and Considered Spaces
Studio is designed for properties where space is a real constraint and quality is still the requirement. Smaller lots, cabin sites, deck installations, and ADU setups all call for a sauna that fits the site without compromising the room. A compact sauna done carelessly performs worse than a larger one. Less room to recover from a poor bench height or a weak ventilation path. Studio is built with that in mind. Every proportion is set deliberately. The result is a sauna that works correctly and holds up over time, regardless of how small the footprint is.
COMFORT IS RESOLVED
Every Detail is Considered
Bench Geometry
Two-tier benching designed for correct body positioning in a compact room. Bench height and depth are set to place the body in the right heat zone, not just to fill the space.
Controlled Ventilation
Balanced intake and exhaust paths that support breathable air, even heat, and a more comfortable session.
Flat Ceiling Profile
Ceiling geometry designed to keep heat stratified correctly for a 2–3 person room. The room heats efficiently and holds temperature without overshooting.
Indirect Lighting
Concealed lighting that preserves visual quiet and keeps glare out of the room.
Drainage
Floor and drain assemblies built for proper hygiene and long-term protection. A smaller room sees proportionally more use per square foot. Drainage is not optional.
Fire Safety
Heater clearances and wall assemblies specified to code for the site’s jurisdiction. WUI building practices followed for high-risk wildfire states.

READY TO BEGIN
A compact sauna requires the same early clarity as a larger one. Tell us about your site, the number of bathers, and how you plan to use the room. We will help define the right configuration before anything moves forward.
MATERIAL INTEGRITY
Materials Chosen with Discipline
A sauna places unusual demands on its materials and structure. Every component is selected for how it performs, how it ages, and how it contributes to the room over time. Where the project calls for it, assemblies are also developed with WUI fire safety, seismic requirements, and high-wind exposure in mind.
Thermally Modified Woods
Thermally Modified Spruce for a knotted textured look and Thermally Modified Aspen for a clear straight-grain aesthetic / Wood selected for dimensional stability, heat tolerance, and long-term behavior in a high-heat environment.
Electric Heaters
HUUM Electric Heaters / “Elegant Nordic design that celebrates the natural beauty of sauna stones.” Provides a powerful heat signature and innovative WiFi integrations. Homecraft / Advanced design that focuses on maximizing heat efficiency while protecting the heating elements for a gentle but full-bodied steam.
Wood-fired Heater
Kuuma Wood-Fired Stove / A powerful traditional heater option for deep, steady heat and a true wood-fired sauna experience.

THE PROCESS
From First Call to Final Delivery
01
Discovery
We start with a call to understand your space, goals, timeline, and the way you want to use the sauna.
02
Reservation
Your deposit secures your place in the production queue and confirms the direction of the project.
03
Contract
Final details are reviewed, the build agreement is signed, and the remaining payment schedule is confirmed.
04
Build
Production begins. Every part of the sauna is built with controlled details, proven materials, and clear communication.
05
Ship
Once the build is complete, delivery is coordinated and the sauna is prepared for arrival at your location.
06
Relax
Your sauna is ready. Step in, heat it up, and enjoy the work that was done properly from the start.
Permitting is dictated by local municipal codes, zoning boundaries, heating options, and structural setbacks. Before the build begins, we can help you understand what usually needs to be checked with your local authority.
Most residential projects fall within an 8 to 12 week production window, depending on the current queue, level of customization, and delivery location. Exact timing is confirmed during the contract stage.
Yes. Rogue saunas are designed for real outdoor use, including colder climates. The materials, insulation approach, heating options, and ventilation are selected to support reliable performance across seasons.
We guide the site prep requirements and coordinate the delivery and placement of the finished sauna. Foundations, access, electrical needs, and installation logistics are clarified before the sauna arrives.
Wood-fired offers a more traditional sauna rhythm, strong stone mass, and the character of live fire. Electric offers ease of use, cleaner operation, and simple day-to-day control. WiFi controls are available for all electric heaters offered. The right choice depends on how you want to use the sauna.
With proper placement, care, and regular maintenance, our saunas are built to serve for many years. Our designs focus on durable materials, heat performance, and construction details that hold up over time.
